today, i found the pricing for the mom and babe classes.
i just don't know if it is worth it. in the next month, it'll be warm enough to get outside and walk. and, that is free!
what do you think? i definitely wouldn't want to join for 12 months, i'd prefer month to month... and i wouldn't want to buy too many classes at once, in case i didn't like it or found it wasn't satisfying. so, that'd be $100 for a month either way... isn't that a lot? seems like it to me. if i didn't join and saved that $100 a month, i'd have enough money to buy a GREAT jogging (3 wheeled) stroller in just a few months! and for the advanced classes, that is what they recommend (not the 4 wheeled stroller i already have).
so anyway, i'm not gonna go to the class tomorrow. mainly because it is almost 2 am and i just finished my work. i'm gonna need to sleep late tomorrow as much as K will let me, because tomorrow afternoon i have to go PRINT the report. which, unfortunately takes about 5 to 6 hours. so, i'll be working late late. which is ok, i'm glad to get out a report. i'm hoping to do a bit of painting before i start on my next one. we'll see what ed has planned...
what do i want to paint? first, the kitchen. we've had paint for over a year now for that room and it is about time to get it on the walls.
second, i want to paint some art for our new room and the kitchen. i got an idea of stuff to do from the rhoads' home, LK had this really cool wavy dotted aboriginal canvas in the living room that looked to me like a topographic map. (i am a sucker for a map.) so anyway, i looked up some stuff online about it and you know what? it may have BEEN a map!!!
here are some of the cool "contemporary" aboriginal paintings i found online:
Thanks for the new choice of desktop backgrounds... My vote would be just to go day to day, which gives you the most flexibility... If you pay for a month, but then skip a day, you didn't save any money really... Meaning, those deals might be the best "value", but they are restrictive...
ReplyDeleteAnd, they are confusing! Does it mean you have to pay $100 for a month just to be able to pay $5 for any class in that month that you'd want to attend? Sounds like a double jeopardy/double indemnity/some other word I can't think of meaning you're paying something to pay (again...) Like what they do at craft festivals, where they charge you an admission fee to go spend some of your money on the artwork... They call it an exhibit, but really, you're paying to pay...
Back to my point (and yours), though... It's already pretty outside, take the kid outside! You might not get the socialization, which I guess is a benie that you'd be paying for and receiving... If that is a big reason for the interest in this class, then I might have to think harder about my comments... b/c unlike me and my gym membership, where I failed to collect that "social" benefit really (hence why I just run outside again/now...), you are more outgoing, and would probably network better that way...
