Analee, you went to NYC in middle school, remember? That was the year that the sanitation workers in NYC went on strike and trash was piled up everywhere. You called home and said that the place was "filthy, mama. Just filthy!" You went to a broadway play--I think les miserable but you slept through it because you had a migraine because you hadn't slept at all the night before. So you have been to NY for at least a weekend.
