"tan tu"

scene: kendal on floor, playing with little people farm set. 3 - 3 year olds sitting close around him and his mom directly behind him. (kendal hands pig to mamaw.) mom (accepting toy): thank you! kendal (muttering): "tan tu" mamaw: "did he say thank you?" mom: "i don't think he can say that yet." (kendal hands horse to mom, turning away to find another toy.) mom (accepting toy): thank you! kendal (muttering): "tan tu" mamaw: "he just said thank you!" mom: "i'm not sure who that was, it may have been reiken." (kendal hands plastic hay stack to mom.) mom (accepting toy): thank you! kendal (muttering): "tan tu" mom: "that was him! he DID just say thank you!" now if he would call the cat a cat... instead of a dog! really, he calls everything a dog. except for me and mamaw (ma), and dad and granddaddy (da). bo actually gets the right name (ba). on another note, we laid down for a nap at 1:35. i dozed off trying to get him to sleep. i'm sure he was zonked out by 2pm. it is now 4:55 and he is STILL asleep. i believe he's taking the longest nap on record!
