by the way, all these photos are from my 1998 field camp scrapbook! here is a page right from it... i had to include both pictures for this entry.
funny story, the dude in the top photo is named bob. not long ago when i was calling about joining the pool this summer, i talked to a man named bob. in our conversation, i'm not sure how we got to it, but i said "i'm a geologist" and he said "i am too!"
the pool bob is the same bob that is in the top picture.
