top ten tuesday - things about holly

1. she farts like a man. like a grown man. 2. yesterday she was 6 months old. 3. yesterday, she measured 26-1/2 inches long, which was off the charts for her age (>95th percentile). she's usually 75% - which means she's just had a huge growth spurt! 4. yesterday, she weighed 16 pounds, 9.5 ounces, which was 65th percentile. she is usually 50th percentile. 5. i know when this growth spurt happened, and it was when nathaniel had the "flu" - because she ate every 2 hours at night and 3 hours during the day. she was insatiable. she also grew out of all her 3 - 6 month size clothes that week... i went from being able to button them to not being able to button them, literally over night. 6. some of her 6 - 9 month clothes are already getting tight. 7. her feet hang out past her carseat. soon as she gains 3 more pounds she'll be ready for her bigger seat, though it'll still be rear facing until 11 or 12 months. (we turned kendal around a little early because we went on a big road trip, it definitely made a huge difference!) 8. she has price is right hands. and they are adorable!!! (see previous blogpost video!) 9. she prefers to sit up now than to laying down. she actually gets mad if i lay her down - even if it is in her rainforest. 10. if i leave the room, she cries. supposedly at 6 months, separation anxiety can start. it didn't start with kendal until about 10 months. the doctor said yesterday that holly was ahead of the curve with everything (sitting up, rolling over, etc.), so i suppose separation anxiety will fit the bill too. and, i suppose since God gave me the blessing of having one child that was laid back and slow (to move), he wanted to make sure i knew it was a blessing by giving me one that wasn't laid back or slow!!! happy half-birthday holly! today we go to the tea room!
